Personality:
Being a middle child can sometimes make someone a little bit of a quirk in the family, but it seemed to work in Violet's favour. She is fairly well-rounded, being able to handle herself just fine whether on her own or within a group. Both seem to come pretty naturally, and she often just goes with the flow of social situations, able to slip in and out with ease a bit like a neutral party or background character.  She is generally easygoing and open-minded, it's pretty rare and difficult to get Violet angry; apathetic or greedy people are normally what put her on edge. Like anyone she has her good days and bad, sunny and cloudy, but she's usually able to get herself through anything with a deep breath and an encouraging word or two, if that doesn't work then a good nap can get her grounded again. Violet is a straightforward and honest person, living life.

A bit of a bad habit on Violet's part, she more than not, loses track of the time at night and staying up long after the sun has disappeared behind the horizon and the moon's rose up into the sky. By the time she pulls the sheets up over her head, the night's more than half over and her tiredness has caught up with her- knocking violet out almost as soon as she's hit the pillow. You'd think that having to get up extra-early in the morning to tend to her yard would make her rethink staying up so late, but she has another source of energy- coffee! Every morning she starts off with a cup of joe, and it keeps her cycle of staying up late going. If she skips it by accident, she'd probably crash in the middle of the day and end up embarrassing herself by falling asleep against a shelf in a store, or on a bench by the side of the road.

History:
   Not a stranger to the ways of husbandry and farming, the Heather's lived on an island similar to Raccolto, though much smaller and with fewer diversity when it came to crops and stock. Sable and Abe were a hardworking couple, running their decently-sized bee yard as well as having to watch over their half-dozen little troublemakers, they certainly had their hands full. As one of the middle children, Violet had a bit of an awkward time growing up with siblings both much older and younger than herself, not to mention having to share toys and rooms with all of them. Space in their cramped house was a rarity, but at least none of them were ever lonely, there was always someone to listen when you needed to be heard. Of course, that doesn't mean there wasn't constant fights, until the children started to become of age and move out there was at least two fights a day, kids coming home with indian-burns and muddy knees needing to be cleaned up and boo-boos kissed by Mom. 

   Living at home, everyone was always busy, busy with the honey, busy with laundry and cleaning, and cooking especially- having eight mouths to feed, there was always someone doing something in the kitchen. Taking after her mother, Violet loved to help out with the meals in addition to taking care of the apiaries. Both she and her Mom had the same favourites when it came to food- honey cakes and fried egg sandwiches being on the top of their lists, so of course there was never a shortage of either, especially as they saw it more as tasty fun than anything else. Along with her older siblings, she had a somewhat emotional connection with the pokemon in their apiaries, and while doing work around the yard they were always gentle, making sure not to cause too much ruckus around the hives. The boys were always the ones making noise and tipping things over, so they were the ones who got stung while the girls held back their laughter. Thankfully it didn't take a big toll on the combee and beedrill, but Violet's brothers were usually bruised and sore by the end of the week.

   By the time Violet was in her teens half of her siblings had left home, on to their own devices. The small island they lived on was going downhill in a bad way as many young people moved away to find bigger and better things than keeping apiaries or gardening. The homes were beginning to get closed up and filled with cobwebs, abandoned, and the state of the island depleted as the months went by. It seemed like with the flip of a switch things had gone from bustling pathways, to the elderly villagers sitting by themselves on their porches. There was barely anyone left. Money was starting to get tight as well, it was easy to see that the apiaries didn't make as much as they used to, everyone knew, really. 

   Though discouraged by the thought of leaving her family, Violet closed in on the gap of maturity where she had to take a leap of faith out into the world. Like her siblings before her she packed up some necessities and boarded a ferry. Unlike her siblings though, Violet had a well-worn pamphlet tucked away in the front pouch of her duffel-bag, highlighted with vibrant photos of islands with life like it used to be- ranches, farms, small businesses, all bustling. She knew where she was off to and could barely hold in her excitement. It took a few cross-dock transfers and and a nasty bout of seasickness, but eventually Violet found a way onto a ferry headed for Raccolto, ready for whatever happened next.

Fun Facts:
- Despite having lived on an island all her life, Violet (and most of her family) still get wicked sunburns.
- Violet shares a special connection with most bug pokemon, and can be sensitive to strong feelings. bug whisperer
- She does have small Dustox wings, but there's no way she'd ever be able to fly with them. They're just kinda' there.
-If Violet doesn't dry her wings right after getting wet, they get all soggy and uncomfortable, her antennae can also droop when wet and become useless.
Talents:
- Because of her connection with bugs, she finds it a bit easier to tame them, and notices quicker if they're ill or restless.
- Violet bakes a mean honey cake.
